Scope of Works:
• Structural Strengthening & Seismic upgrade of Columns, Beams and connections

Project Description:
The Tyfo^® SCH-41 System was used strengthen the existing columns, beams and beam-column connections in order to comply with current seismic detailing requirements. The Coker remained in operation during the entire project.
The existing reinforced concrete required major repairs prior to the installation of the TYFO^® SCH-41 System. After removing all of the unsound concrete, the sections needed to be rebuilt to regain their original section shape.
Fibrwrap^® Construction performed all of required repairs and strengthening during normal operations. Fibrwrap^® Construction worked closely with the facility to remove and replace obstacles. Areas that needed to be worked around required special detailing.
