Scope of Works:
• Flexural strengthening of a precast RC Beam for Negative and Positive Moments to allow the removal of an adjacent floor slab.

Project Description:
IBM group from Liverpool are carrying out the full refurbishment of the 4 storey office block in London.
The works included the removal of a section of reinforced concrete slab in the first to ground floors which would have had negative and positive reactions from the surrounding structure.
The consultant for the project contacted Fibrwrap UK to ask if we could counteract these movements with Fibrwrap Systems.
The project included 1 layer of Tyfo SCH-41(S) to the top and bottom of the beams.
